The little ones

I’m sorry if I sound like a biased aunt but I’m truly not! It’s just that Seth is at a age now where he’s so OMG adorable. I wanna squeeze that little boy every time I see him. I wanna die from laughing every time I see him imitate his sister. And he’s finally reducing his blur look. It’s loads of cheeky monkey expressions now!

See! He’s totally recognising his Yi yi now. Kept passing me stuff. hahaha! And yesterday on Skype, he called me “Yi yi” a couple of times and went to the edge of the table with the top of his head popping out, saying: “I want high five!” Hahahaha

So my mum propped him up on the chair and poor Matt. His laptop took another several slapping on the screen. May as well anyway so he can finally switch to a MacBook. Even though his laptop is just less than a year old… :P

Didi is sooo cute nowadays. His scary cat behaviour always have me in stitches. Last week when I was back in SG, I joined Che and the kids at East Coast Beach while waiting for the rest of the family to join us for dinner. Seth was so afraid of sand that he refused to step on it. The helper was so brutal and just carried him to the sand and put him down. Hahahaha, you should see the look of terror on his face. He was so horrified he fell onto his butt, putting his feet up.

After some getting used to, he started to have such a delightful time. Kept kicking the sand while saying “kick! kick! kick!” in between laughter. When Che and I managed to lure Kiks into standing in the white wash, Seth looked on curiously but refused to step into the water, clinging onto Che and me like a koala bear.

Kiks was fascinated by her footsteps and her long legs. Kept telling me and Matt: “See! Kirsten has long legs!” O_o

During the few attempts I tried to dip Didi’s feet into the water, he clung on some more and said in a extremely pleading voice: “Nooooo…….” Hahahaha, so funny and pitiful that I deliberately did that to him a couple more times just to get a kick out of seeing his reaction. Hur hur hur.

Cutesy Didi

Meanwhile with Kiks, I guess I finally have to wave the white flag to Matt. :( During dinnertime, I asked the prissy princess: “Kirsten, do you love Yi yi more or Uncle Matthew more?” She replied in her drama mama voice: “I love Uncle Matthew more!”

Fine! Maybe it was the way I structured my question. Last word memory, you know? 15 mins later, I asked her again: “Kirsten, do you love Uncle Matthew more or Yi yi more?” Kiks: “I love Uncle Matthew more!” in a slightly exasperated tone. #*(#*^**#*@*

After dinner, Matt was playing rough with Kiks and the prissy queen started to cry and whined that her arm hurt cos Matt grabbed her too hard. Perfect opportunity to turn the tables! Amidst her tears, her terrible aunt asked her: “Kirsten! Do you love Uncle Matthew more or Yi yi more??!!” She cried: “I love Uncle Matthew moreeee!!!”

……………………

Next in Raymond’s car (Kiks insisted Uncle Matthew went home with her so had to coax her by hitching a ride with them), my bro-in-law said: “Ok ok Lian, I help you ok!” and asked Kiks: “Kirsten, do you love Auntie (the helper) more or Yi yi more?”

Kiks: “I love Uncle Matthew more.” LIKE SERIOUSLY DUDE.

Cannot take it anymoar ok!!!

Me: “Kirsten! Do you love Yi yi?!?!”
Kiks: “I love Uncle Matthew!!!”

WAH LAU!!!

All the while with Matt laughing hysterically in the background, trying to high-five Kiks.

Hehe, a video of giggly Seth and the patient che che:
