- Sleep in.
- I do my grocery shopping where I stock up on my Greek yoghurt, magazines, juices, milk, fruits and meats for the week ahead.
- I send dirty laundry to the laundromat.
- Meet a pal for tea or dinner.
- Hand wash dresses with delicate fabrics and line them out to dry.
- Go for brunch on my own while the cleaners come over.
- Do some fussing around my tiny flat.
- Watch DVDs on the couch.
- Some quick spots of shopping for my wardrobe. Hur hur.
- Cook and/or bake!
- Chat with spastic pals.
- Nap!
- Get some work done.
- And my fave part, which I’m doing now, watching my family and Matt on Skype. :) Right now, Kirsten is watching the Chinese nursery rhymes DVD that Matt got while Didi is pushing Matt’s remote control car to him and vice versa with Che watching on at the door.
And today, I was bored in the afternoon while waiting for Matt’s SOS call when he went shopping for his outfit for the Phuket wedding so I took pics of the dresses I bought during the past, erm, three months?
Hmmm, think there are another six more, two of which are the cheongsams that I’d already took pics of, two more that are in SG and other two which photos don’t do them justice so I didn’t bother.
The coral-print cheongsam is the one I made last-min in Shanghai! I told Matt it’s my slutty cheongsam cos it ends at half-thigh. Slutty cos, erm, cheongsams are supposed to be conservative and normally doesn’t go much above the knees. I’m thinking of wearing that for the Phuket wedding but I had the Matthew Williamson for H&M dress in mind too. :/ I guess I’ll bring both and see whatever strikes my fancy that day!
The kids just left and I asked Matt, “Did Kirsten kiss you goodbye today?” and he replied with a smug face, “Of course she did! She’s SPG what!” and laughed out loud. Terrible Uncle Matthew.
Ahhh! I love my new dresses. Can’t wait to wear them all. I think I’d only wore half of them. And can’t wait to check out Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair at Actually when I’m in SG after Phuket. I.T sells a tiny range here at exorbitant prices!
Butttt, that said, they’re having a sale right now and the discounts are pretty good! Lita and I wandered into the Silvercord outlet (all her fault!!!) and I got myself a pair of Opening Ceremony.

I’d been eyeing it since April when I saw a similar pair. Best part is that this one is prettier in red! I love it so much! And the even better part is they’re really comfy! I’d worn it for a whole day to testify for that. The thing with my feet is that they’re really, really prissy. I get blisters from flip flops, Converse sneakers, Dr. Martens boots and whatever comfy flats that others rave about will gimme blisters too. Every pair of shoes I buy is a gamble so I get absolutely stoked when a new pair that I bought is actually comfy.
Ok, no more shopping till after Phuket… *mumbles* But must visit Actually and Topshop in SG…

the coral cheongsam is pretty! I always tell myself i have to handwash my delicate dresses too…. but always end up sending them to the laundromat, and they’re not particularly careful! :(
where’s the Actually store in sg? I’ll heading back in 2 weeks’ time!
