No work today!

Well, not really. Working on my MacBook from home today but still, it’s nice to have John Mayer playing while I’m working. And having the bed next to me is definitely a big draw. HEE.

Oh, the reason why is that a Typhoon 8 has been hoisted again. The typhoon today is definitely stronger than my first experience that hindered my first day of work. I could hear the winds howling this morning, the doors in the house slightly shaking and the zinc roof outside my window seems to be threatening to fly off. Scarrryyy

And according to Angel, it’s predicted to have black thunderstorm tomorrow. That means, the rain will be so heavy that you can’t see past it. So much for the junk that we’re supposed to go on tomorrow. :( To think we had such beautiful weather for the past two weeks. Never mind, next Saturday or something then!

Poor Libby’s bf was supposed to arrive now in HK but due to the bad weather, he hasn’t even boarded the very-delayed flight in London and the airport staff couldn’t even give him an estimated time of departure. Poor Libs.

Thats Libby and she was very intrigued when the cleaners were doing the windows of the office building.

We’re moving next week to the building next door and we’ll be on the 32nd level, compared to the current 8th floor. However, I won’t be getting my window view anymore, which is honestly, the only thing I want for my new desk. :( But well, the view will be a table away so better than nothing I guess…

I was roaming Tsim Sha Tsui area a little this week…

Sue, this is for you!

Damn shadow! If not, the pic will be a really nice one. The building is called Chungking House. Reminds me of Chungking Express.

It’s gonna be a long weekend since I probably won’t be able to get out today and tomorrow. Even if I do, most shops won’t be open. Borrrinnggg… :(

Will catch on my reading then. Anyhow, my pink egg-shaped table has arrived! It’s nice to be able to stop working on my comp on my bed. I’ve got a matching seat cushion but haven’t got the yellow chair I want yet. Weather clears up soon so I can go out and playyy…

Matt’s parents arrived last night in Singapore from Brisbane and are staying at my place for the next three nights and I ‘met’ them through Skype. Sometimes, I find my relationship and living arrangements with Matt so hilarious. So, my family would meet Matt’s parents… before I got to meet them. And I’ll probably only get to meet them face-to-face next September.

How amusing is my life, really. I’ve left for HK but my bf’s still staying with my family and now this. hahahahaaha, so funny.
