I’m hungry again

It’s terrible to see images of food when you’re hungry late at night. I was just going through my iPhoto albums and found a few images of the spread when Matt, Sue and I went for Korean barbie at Crystal Jade a couple of weeks ago. It was so yums, I almost died of excitement just by looking at the raw food and the oiled hot pan.

And it sucks cos I’m hungry now!

Joan and Su-Lin, who are both working in Macau now, came over to HK for the weekend. Joan’s putting up at Angel’s tonight while Su’s staying with her sis. Joan, Angel, Larry (Angel’s bf) and I went vintage shopping at Mongkok this afternoon and I grabbed a lot of beautiful dresses. 6 dresses and 1 skirt to be exact. Hee. Will take pics once they’re back from the laundromat tomorrow!

I also bought a bumble bee jumper for Seth, which is so cute and funny and I imagined him looking ridiculous in it and that’s really the reason why I bought it. Hehehe, evil aunt again.

I also bought gifts for the girls and I know they’ll love it. :) I’m never big on buying gifts for people when I travel but somehow being in HK, I feel compelled to for some reason… I bought a toy for Matt at City Super yesterday and it’s so funny but I can’t reveal what it is yet until I give it to him next Friday. Can’t wait!

We had yummy pizzas for dinner before Su-Lin, Imran (Johri, he used to be the ed for Men’s Health in SG. He’s the ed of Peak in HK now while Su used to write for Urban and Cleo, where I knew her from.) and his girlfriend came over. We all went up to the rooftop, which technically belongs to Angel’s since her apartment is the top floor and it’s quite a view! I’ll take a pic of it sometime soon and post if up. The rooftop is as big as the size of the apartment and we were planning to have barbies up there sometime soon.

We talked about going or not going for supper or drinks and in the end, it became too late and we made arrangements for yum cha tomorrow for brunch instead. Yums! My first dim sum in HK. Can’t wait.

Ugh, still hungry. Should just try to sleep it off now.
